IC 443 Jellyfish Nebula

IC 443 is a supernova remnant about 5000 light-years away. It's about
70 light-years across and covers an area in the sky almost twice the diameter of the full Moon. This image was processed by Huguette, who made a better job of it than I did. She calls it The Brain or, if rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise, she sees a bearded man's face from below, and refers to it then
as Père Noël.
